NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Please take notice that on May 15, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at Eastman City Hall, 333 College St., Eastman, GA, a Public Hearing by the City of Eastman Planning & Zoning Board will be held for consideration of a proposal from the Eastman City Council to amend its Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, Article XIV.-Zoning Changes and Ordinance and Resolution Amendments, Sec. 143-Newly Annexed Areas to provide for newly annexed areas to be classified and zoned as R-1 Single-Family – Residential District until otherwise classified by ordinance or unless a different classification is called for in the annexation ordinance.
The City Council’s Resolution and proposed Ordinance is available for public inspection at Eastman City Hall and will be available at the Public Hearing where any questions or concerns will be answered. All interested persons are hereby advised of the opportunity to submit documents, views, or arguments in writing or orally at the Public Hearing.
